Day 01

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra & Transfer to Gangtok

Welcome to Sikkim! Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station, our professional driver will greet you. Begin your scenic 4 to 5-hour drive (approx. 120 km) along the beautiful Teesta River up to the capital city, Gangtok.

Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the evening is completely free for leisure. We highly recommend taking a pedestrian stroll down the famous MG Marg, a vehicle-free zone perfect for enjoying local cafes, shopping, and the vibrant city atmosphere. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 02

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, start your day trip to the spectacular high-altitude Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), situated at an elevation of 12,400 ft. The lake is revered by the locals and remains frozen during the winter months. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

Continue your journey to visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a unique shrine built in memory of a brave Indian soldier. (Optional: If permits are available and weather permits, an extension to Nathula Pass can be arranged at an additional cost). Return to Gangtok in the late afternoon. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 03

Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Post breakfast, head out for a half-day local sightseeing tour of Gangtok. The tour covers prominent spots such as the serene Enchey Monastery or Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Do Drul Chorten, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom.

You will also visit breathtaking viewpoints like Tashi View Point or Ganesh Tok, offering panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga. Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure, picking up souvenirs or enjoying local Sikkimese cuisine. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 04

Departure: Gangtok to NJP/Bagdogra Drop

Enjoy your final breakfast in the mountains. After checking out of your hotel, your dedicated cab will be ready to begin the descent back to the plains along the Teesta River.
