Day 01

Gangtok to Lachung Transfer via Sightseeing

After completing permit formalities, your vehicle will pick you up from Gangtok in the morning. Begin your journey toward Lachung, nestled in North Sikkim. En route, stop at scenic viewpoints and waterfalls including the mesmerizing Tashi Viewpoint, Khed-um Waterfall, and the famous Seven Sister Waterfalls where you can capture incredible photographs.

Continue driving along the rugged mountain terrain, passing through Chungthang where the Lachung Chhu and Mangan rivers meet. Arrive at Lachung by late afternoon, check into your hotel, and relax amidst the stunning alpine backdrop. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 02

Excursion to Yumthang Valley & Optional Zero Point

Early in the morning after breakfast, set off for an unforgettable excursion to Yumthang Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers. Surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains, rolling meadows, and winding rivers, it offers a breathtaking visual treat. Depending on the season, you can witness blooming rhododendrons or pristine snowfields.

You can also opt for an extended trip further up to Zero Point (Yumesamdong) at 15,000 feet, where civilian roads end and majestic glaciers begin (subject to permit availability and weather). Return to Lachung hotel for lunch, pack your belongings, and transfer back down to Gangtok by evening.

Lachung Tour Conclusion & Return Transfer
