Booking Policy & Guidelines

• AC will be switched off while driving on steep hills/ghats to prevent engine overheating and ensure safety. This is standard practice in hill stations like Darjeeling and Sikkim.
• Vehicles are not allowed to enter certain restricted areas (like Mall Road in Darjeeling or MG Marg in Gangtok). Guests will have to walk or take local shuttles as per local traffic rules.
• Smoking and consumption of alcohol inside the cab are strictly prohibited.
• Please carry 3 passport size photos and photocopies of any valid Govt Photo ID proof of all travellers. School IDs/Birth certificate required for children. Special Permit is required for Nathula, which is done on extra cost paid directly on the spot and is totally dependent in the issuance of permit by the Sikkim tourism Dept. It is closed for visitors on Mondays and Tuesdays. Permits may be granted in clubbing basis.
• For North Sikkim (Lachung/Lachen), special permits are required. Guests must provide valid ID proofs (Voter ID/Passport/Driving License) carry 3 passport size photos and photocopies of any valid Govt Photo ID proof of all travellers. School IDs/Birth certificate required for children.
• Aadhar Card is generally NOT accepted for Sikkim permits. Please carry Voter ID or Passport or Driving Licence.
• Prices mentioned are exclusive of parking charges, toll taxes, monument tickets, and state entry taxes unless specified otherwise in the package.
• To secure your reservation, a deposit or half payment is a must required.
• All information regarding the confirmation, hotel names and hired cars will be sent via email only after the payment is done.
• We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers as well as cash.
• Full payment must be made before the tour departure date.
• Advanced amount will not be refundable. It can be adjusted upto 50% only if the respective group goes for another tour within the 6 month of cancellation.
• Requests for changes to your booking are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
• Siliguri Cab Rental reserves the right to modify tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.
• Siliguri Cab Rental is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.
• Participants are responsible for their actions during the trip, including any damages caused to the environment or local communities.
• Respect local customs, drivers, hotel faculty, traditions, and cultures while participating in our tours.
• Any behavior that disrupts the enjoyment of others or the smooth operation of the tour may result in termination of the tour without refunds.
