Experiencing the Magic of Tiger Hill Sunrise
Rising before the sun is a sacred rite of passage for every traveler visiting Darjeeling. At 8,482 feet above sea level, Tiger Hill stands as the highest point in the immediate Darjeeling ridge, commanding an uninterrupted view of the mighty Kanchenjunga range and, on exceptionally clear days, Mount Everest itself.
What Time Should You Leave Your Hotel?
In peak tourist seasons (April-May & October-November), vehicle congestion at the Tiger Hill summit gate can be substantial. We advise our guests to depart from their hotel between 3:45 AM and 4:15 AM. Our chauffeurs ensure you reach the observatory before the first amber glow breaks across the horizon.
