  • Hotels & Meals: This is a transport-only package. Accommodations and food are NOT included. You must book your own hotels in Kaziranga, Majuli, and Guwahati.
  • Ferry Tickets: Passenger and vehicle ferry tickets from Nimati Ghat to Majuli are not included and must be purchased at the ghat.
  • Safari & Monument Tickets: Kaziranga jeep/elephant safaris, Orchid Park entry, and Kamakhya VIP passes are excluded.

Day 01

Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Kaziranga

Welcome to Assam! Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, your dedicated driver will receive you. Start your journey with a scenic 4 to 5-hour highway drive east towards the dense forests of Kaziranga National Park.

Upon reaching Kaziranga, check into your self-booked jungle resort. Spend the evening relaxing. You can ask your resort to arrange an Elephant Safari for the next morning.

Day 02

Kaziranga Jungle Safaris & Orchid Park

Wake up early for an exhilarating Elephant Safari inside Kaziranga National Park to spot the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. Return to your resort for breakfast.

Later, visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. In the afternoon, head out for a thrilling Jeep Safari in the Western or Central range to spot wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and rich birdlife. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 03

Kaziranga to Jorhat & Ferry to Majuli

After breakfast, check out from Kaziranga. You will drive approximately 2.5 hours further east to Jorhat. Your driver will drop you at the Nimati Ghat.

Here, you will board a local ferry to cross the massive Brahmaputra River to reach Majuli Island (ferry takes about 1-1.5 hours). Upon reaching the island, check into your bamboo cottage or resort. Spend a peaceful evening by the riverbank.

Day 04

Majuli Island Sightseeing (Satras & Villages)

After breakfast, embark on a cultural exploration of Majuli. The island is the nerve center of Neo-Vaishnavite culture. You will visit the ancient Satras (monasteries) such as Kamalabari Satra, Auniati Satra, and Samaguri Satra (famous for traditional mask-making).

In the afternoon, visit an authentic Mishing Tribal Village to experience their unique stilt houses, handloom weaving, and local lifestyle. Enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Brahmaputra before returning to your cottage.

Day 05

Majuli to Guwahati Return Transfer

Check out early to catch the morning ferry back to Nimati Ghat (Jorhat). Once you cross the river, your vehicle will be waiting to commence the long return journey to Guwahati.

The drive back takes about 7 to 8 hours. Upon reaching Guwahati by the evening, check into your city hotel and rest after the exhaustive transit.

Day 06

Kamakhya Darshan & Departure

Start your final day early. Your cab will drive you up Nilachal Hill for a spiritual visit to the highly revered Kamakhya Temple.

After Darshan and breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you can do some quick local shopping. Your driver will ensure a punctual drop-off at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.

No. This is strictly a "Transport-Only" package designed to give you ultimate flexibility. The fare covers your private vehicle for Guwahati Airport transfers, long highway transits to Kaziranga and Jorhat, and local sightseeing drops. You must book your own hotels.

Are Majuli ferry tickets and Kaziranga Safaris included?

No. Passenger and vehicle ferry tickets at Nimati Ghat, as well as Gypsy or Elephant safari tickets at Kaziranga, must be purchased directly by you at the respective government counters. Our package covers the road transport up to these boarding points.

Will our cab cross the river to Majuli with us?

This depends on the Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) ferry operational status and Brahmaputra water levels on the day of travel. If the Ro-Ro ferry is operational, your assigned vehicle will cross over. If not, your driver will drop you at Nimati Ghat, and a separate partner vehicle will be provided on Majuli Island for your sightseeing.
