Comprehensive Guide: Booking Your Assam Wildlife Kaziranga Tour Package

Why the 3 Nights 4 Days Kaziranga Tour is Ideal for Wildlife Lovers

If your primary goal is to spot the magnificent Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, the kaziranga tour package 3n 4d is highly recommended. Kaziranga National Park is situated deep in Assam (approximately a 4.5 to 5-hour drive from Guwahati). By booking this "Transport-Only" assam wildlife tour package, you secure a reliable guwahati to kaziranga taxi that stays with you to navigate the long highway transits, forest trails, and tea gardens efficiently without relying on unverified local cabs.

Understanding the Kaziranga Safari Logistics

A major part of any kaziranga safari package is understanding how the forest department operates. Our commercial tourist vehicles drop you at the designated forest ticket counters (Kohora or Bagori range). However, they are not allowed inside the core jungle. To enter Kaziranga National Park, you MUST purchase tickets directly at the counter and board a government-authorized open-top Gypsy or an Elephant. Our local drivers ensure you reach these counters well before the dawn or evening shifts so you don't miss out on tickets.

Exploring Beyond the Safaris

Beyond the rhinos, the true charm of this assam weekend tour lies in its offbeat excursions. Your dedicated cab will take you to the Kaziranga Orchid Park, where you can witness hundreds of orchid varieties and traditional Bihu dances. Furthermore, the itinerary allows a short trip to the beautiful Kakochang Waterfalls. By booking a fixed-fare siliguri to guwahati cab or Guwahati-based package, all these local transits are fully covered with zero hidden costs.

Package FAQ

Common questions about this 3N/4D Kaziranga wildlife itinerary.

Are Kaziranga Safari tickets included in this fare?

No. This is strictly a "Transport-Only" package. The fare covers your private cab for Guwahati Airport/Railway transfers, all highway transits to Kaziranga, local sightseeing drops (Orchid Park), and the drop to the forest ticket counters. You must purchase your own Gypsy or Elephant safari tickets directly from the forest department.

Are safaris open during the rainy season?

No. This is a critical rule for Assam. Kaziranga National Park is located on the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River and is highly prone to massive flooding. Therefore, the park is legally closed to tourists usually from May to October every year. No safaris are permitted during this time.

Do we need an SUV for the Guwahati to Kaziranga trip?

While the main highway connecting Guwahati to Kaziranga (NH27) is well-paved and suitable for sedans, an SUV is highly recommended if you are a larger group (5-6 pax) or carrying excessive luggage, as the drive is quite long (almost 5 hours).
