Day 01

Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Kaziranga

Welcome to the North East! Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, your dedicated driver will receive you. Start your grand journey with a scenic 4.5-hour highway drive east towards the dense forests of Kaziranga National Park.

Upon reaching Kaziranga, check into your self-booked jungle resort. Spend the evening relaxing and ask your resort to assist in arranging an Elephant Safari for the next morning.

Day 02

Kaziranga Jungle Safaris & Orchid Park

Wake up early for an exhilarating Elephant Safari inside Kaziranga National Park to spot the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. Return to your resort for breakfast.

Later, visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. In the afternoon, head out for a thrilling Jeep Safari in the Western or Central range to spot wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and rich birdlife. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 03

Kaziranga to Shillong Transfer via Umiam Lake

After breakfast, check out from Kaziranga. Today involves a long but highly scenic interstate drive crossing back through Guwahati and ascending into the hills of Meghalaya.

En route to Shillong, make a grand stop at the magnificent Umiam Lake (Barapani) for photography and optional boating. Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the vibrant Police Bazaar.

Day 04

Full Day Cherrapunji Excursion

Start early after breakfast for a thrilling day trip to Cherrapunji (Sohra), famous for its dramatic landscapes and intense rainfall.

You will visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), the Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and the Eco Park. Enjoy the misty valleys before driving back to your hotel in Shillong for the night.

Day 05

Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

After breakfast, drive towards the Indo-Bangladesh border to visit Dawki. Experience boating on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where boats seem to float on air.
